	Intel I7 Extreme Edition (I7-975) 3.3Ghz, 4 cores, cache 32 KB L1, 256 KB L2 per core, plus 8 MB shared L3, 6.4GB/s memory transfer, can overclock to 4Ghz with no voltage change. The I7-950 is second fastest available, and half the price.		Koolance Exos water cooling - reduces CPU temperature by at least 20 degrees Fahrenheit (usually 40 degrees), and lowers the temperature inside the case while being very quiet. Purchase the Exos, blocks, tubes and coolant.		Corsair I7 Dominator 2000 w/fan (6GB total memory). Note that Corsair sells a water cooling block (it is a thermoelectric cooler, but you can use as water cooler) for this class of memory. Excellent for water cooled rigs.		BFG Tech GTX 295 1792MB PCIe - they also have an 'H2O' version - which is faster and quieter if you are water cooling your rig.
	Creative Labs X-Fi Titanium Professional (Champion version - the extra hookups - is generally not needed).		Intel X25-M solid-state drive (use one of these for your system 'C' drive) - 80GB. Make sure you have firmware version 8820 or later.		Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 - fastest 7200 drive. This is as fast as it gets for 7200 rpm drives. The West Digital VelociRaptor is faster, but it is a 10,000 rpm drive, is very loud, very hot and has a much shorter lifespan. By using Windows dynamic disks and drive striping, you get faster performance, less heat, more storage and less cost in two Barracuda drives than in one VelociRaptor.		Just in case you are uncomfortable with the history of Seagate drives, then the Western Digital Caviar Black offers a good alternative (use 2 in Windows dynamic disk software stripping for your data drive for huge storage and fast throughput).
	Gigabyte I-RAM Box - RAM drive (use for pagefile, tempfiles and swap files). The "Box" version uses a normal hard drive SATA slot (the GC-RAMDisk uses a PCI slot).		HP DVD 1070i - CD/DVD reader/burner, all formats except Blu-Ray, and Blu-Ray is not needed and is not recommended (see link at top). Note that burned DVDs have a very short lifespan (a couple of years) and should be avoided except for quick transfers. CDs will last for a hundred years or longer.
